About our Organization
We have evolved from a vision for a neighbourhood of healthy children, healthy families, and healthy communities. As part of a hub of social service agencies within the Shelldale Centre, we work from one integrated location; with a wide range of programs for every family member: infants, children, youth, adults, and seniors. Programs are multicultural, and community driven reflecting the ever-changing nature of the neighbourhood.
Programs We Offer
Shelldale Family Gateway offers dozens of programs throughout the year. Our 'Early On' programs funded through the County of Wellington serve ages 0 to 6. In addition, we provide a diverse range of 'non funded' programs for children, youth, and adults, made possible entirely through donations, grants, fundraising events, and endowments. Our programs are constantly evolving, so drop in and check on the latest in what is happening!
Ways to Help
Volunteering is a great way to contribute to community, meet people, and gain new skills and experiences. Our programs depend on support of volunteers to be successful. Those wishing to offer financial support can make one-time or monthly donations directly on line or at the centre. Anyone considering gifts in perpetuity can contribute to the Shelldale Family Gateway Endowment Fund, managed through the Guelph Community Foundation.
